Rate your grill skills (10 being a “grill master”)? One time I grilled tons of hamburgers for a bunch of teenagers and they thought they were pretty yummy. I gave myself a 10.

Instagram or Snapchat? Depends on how much of my life and whereabouts I feel like sharing… lately, it’s been Snapchat. It’s where all the cool kids are.

You’re looking to embark upon a thrilling adventure in Kern County. Where do you go/what do you do? White water rafting on the Kern River!

What or who inspires you to be a better person? The wonderful people in my life.
Favorite local charity or non-profit event? I love CASA and the Bakersfield Pregnancy Center!
One thing you couldn’t live without? My Bible. It’s my roadmap, my guide and my encouragement. All I need.
TV show you are obsessed with? Currently, Gilmore Girls. Since they’re torturing us by making us wait and wait for the revival, I am on to my second round of binge watching.
Favorite local place for a first date? Froyo is always a good choice. It’s delicious, and If the date is going terribly, you can eat your froyo pretty quickly and bolt, but if it’s going well you can sit and chat for a while.

Beef, Chicken or Veggies? Beef and veggies because I always burn my chicken!
Charcoal or Gas? This depends. I like gas for the convenience, but I like charcoal for the taste.
Beer or Wine? For a BBQ I prefer beer. On a hot day a cold beer sounds better then hot wine!
Pool, Patio or Tailgate? I prefer pool so I can jump in while I am cooking.
To be the host or be hosted? I prefer to be the host because I like taking care of people instead of being taken care of.
Your go-to side dish to bring? Mashed potatoes because my sister Makenna LOVES my potatoes!!!!
Do you follow a family recipe or MacGyver it? I start with a recipe, but I know what I like and I typically use what I like. So to answer your question. Macgyver! Lol!
What’s the secret to your secret sauce? Minced garlic!!! Garlic makes life better!

You’re looking to embark upon a thrilling adventure in Kern County. Where do you go/what do you do? I would go to the mountains in Kernville. They have amazing hiking and when I am done I love going to the brewery to have one of the best burgers in Kern County!!

What or who inspires you to be a better person? I don’t really have a specific person, but when I choose to have a girlfriend she will be the one that inspires me to be a better person. I guess at the moment I try to inspire myself to be better.
Favorite local charity or non-profit event? The 20/30 club used to put on an event where they would buy school supplies and clothes for children who are less fortunate. It was something that I always looked forward to because I like helping people that aren’t as blessed as I am in life.
One thing you couldn’t live without? My soccer ball. Soccer has always been there for me and it has been a great stress reliever for me.
