Beef, Chicken or Veggies? Beef, nothing taste better than a home-cooked filet.
Charcoal or Gas? Traeger, then gas charbroiled.
Beer or Wine? Wine, nothing tastes better with food.
Pool, Patio or Tailgate? Patio, best place to entertain guests.
To be the host or be hosted? Host, I love to cook for others.
Your go-to side dish to bring? Jell-O Salad, if I don’t make it, others clearly state their disappointment.
Do you follow a family recipe or MacGyver it? Definitely MacGyver it. I never measure anything. If it taste good, run with it!
What’s the secret to your secret sauce? Organic Seasonings, Nothing makes a meal better than fresh organic herbs.
Rate your grill skills (10 being a “grill master”)? 10. I appreciate great food and in turn like to return the favor by serving greater tasting food.
3 words to describe your dance moves: “Balter, Congruous, Blithesome”
Craziest place you’ve ever been kissed? On a mountain top at 10,000 feet overlooking John Muir wilderness.
Instagram or Snapchat? Instagram, I love the platform.
Musical instrument you played as a kid? Piano.
You’re looking to embark upon a thrilling adventure in Kern County. Where do you go/what do you do? Head for the High Country somewhere in the mountains, hiking, fishing.
Name something from your bucket list: Trip to Scotland & Ireland.
What or who inspires you to be a better person? My children.
Favorite local charity or non-profit event? Relay for Life (American Cancer Society).
One thing you couldn’t live without? God’s Grace. Without it I could not have triumphed in the victories I have conquered, nor survived the battle’s I have lost in life.
TV show you are obsessed with? Outlander.
Favorite local place for a first date? Sushi Moon.
On talk like a pirate day – what’s you’re favorite thing to say (in pirate of course)? “May your anchor be tight, your cork be loose, your rum be spiced and your compass be true!”

Beef, Chicken or Veggies? Honestly I would go for small helping of all three but if forced to choose I would go with beef because whether under or overcooked, I should be Ok.
Charcoal or Gas? Gas. Even though charcoal gives a great flavor, for this I would take convenience and easy clean up over quality of taste. Usually the kids and I have a full day planned with sports and other activities so time is a necessity.
Beer or Wine? Not really a fan of either but if I had to a dark beer.
Pool, Patio or Tailgate? Tailgate, because that usually means we have tickets to a game too.
To be the host or be hosted? Host. When I’m hosted I feel like I need to do something whether it’s cleaning up or helping somehow. I like to help rather than be served.
Your go-to side dish to bring? Albertsons at one time had a great spinach dip. Not sure whether they still do but nowadays it’s garlic hummus.
Do you follow a family recipe or MacGyver it? MacGyver it unless it’s a great family recipe but it’s fun to try new things and experiment with flavors.
What’s the secret to your secret sauce? Ummm. It’s a secret. If I told you it wouldn’t be a secret sauce any longer…
Rate your grill skills (10 being a “grill master”)? 7 sometimes an 8. Depends on what I am cooking and since I like to “MacGyver” it at times, it doesn’t always turn out great, just good to fair.
3 words to describe your dance moves: Rhythm, fun, stamina.
Craziest place you’ve ever been kissed? Right in the middle of a busy Starbucks in LA a few years back- full blown make out session.
Instagram or Snapchat? Neither, they will both get you into trouble or cause problems.
Musical instrument you played as a kid? Played the guitar. I wanted to play like Metallica.
You’re looking to embark upon a thrilling adventure in Kern County. Where do you go/what do you do? Hiking and bike riding in the Kernville area.
Name something from your bucket list: European River Cruise. No other reason than it looks awesome to do.
What or who inspires you to be a better person? I get inspired when I hear about or witness someone doing anything with an unselfish heart for an individual or a community. Putting another’s needs above your own is becoming a thing of the past in a society of “me’s”.
Favorite local charity or non-profit event? Alzheimer’s Disease Association of Kern County’s Blondes Vs. Brunettes flag football game. I have been a referee in the game since its inception 3 years ago. The passion from the women that are involved with the event due to family members having suffered or that are currently suffering with the disease really is inspiring. I don’t think people realize how much preparation and dedication there is to do all the practices they have months before the games. It is just phenomenal.
One thing you couldn’t live without? Water. It’s the sustaining life blood to everything…
TV show you are obsessed with? 2 actually, NCIS and Castle. Both have a murder drama complex to it along with a bit of off the cuff comedic dynamic intertwined.
Favorite local place for a first date? Shoguns. Sushi and good cold sake can really create conversation.
On talk like a pirate day – what’s you’re favorite thing to say (in pirate of course)? “Aaarr, you be touchin’ me booty!” of course not at work because HR already has me on speed dial. Inside work place humor.
