Beef, Chicken or Veggies? Chicken and veggies because I like to keep it healthy MOST of the time! Saves calories for froyo!
Charcoal or Gas? Either. As long as it’s cooked and has those charred spots! Yum!
Beer or Wine? Wine….RED, but only on occasion.
Pool, Patio or Tailgate? Pool, although I could have fun with all listed venues! Pool and patio, in my opinion, go hand in hand.
To be the host or be hosted? Host! I love entertaining and making others feel welcomed and loved!
Your go-to side dish to bring? Generally a spinach and fruit salad with blue cheese or feta crumbles and slivered almonds. This way I know there is a healthy option to help balance all the other yummy dishes that make the spread. A not so healthy option is party potatoes. Eek!
Do you follow a family recipe or MacGyver it? I MacGyver it most always. I like to experiment and try new things.
What’s the secret to your secret sauce? Well, LOVE, of course and maybe a spoonful of sugar. LOL or Garlic! Garlic always rocks any recipe!
Rate your grill skills (10 being a “grill master”)? I will have to say a 6 or 7. I can grill but would rather have someone else do this portion while whip up a masterpiece in the kitchen!
3 words to describe your dance moves: Ungraceful, Involuntary and Expressive. Left the good moves from my 20’s at the club but can still kick up some dust.
Craziest place you’ve ever been kissed? The Caribbean Sea…enough said.
Instagram or Snapchat? Instagram because moments are to be made into memories and with Snapchat you lose them; although, I recently discovered the face swap and other features. Those are quite fun!
Musical instrument you played as a kid? Clarinet because my sister played it! I was actually really good too. I wonder if it’s like riding a bike???
You’re looking to embark upon a thrilling adventure in Kern County. Where do you go/what do you do? Rafting in the Kern River!
Name something from your bucket list: A trip to Ireland! Note: I am making this happen next summer, single or not!
What or who inspires you to be a better person? God’s word and my son! God because I want to live a life that is pleasing to him. My son because he’s everything to me and I want to be the best role model possible.
Favorite local charity or non-profit event? Dinner at the Derby! I’m a bit biased in that the funds go to my Rotary Clubs Foundation to provide to local nonprofits who serve Kern County children but also because it’s super fun to dress up, name a horse, and bet on the races!
One thing you couldn’t live without? Holy Bible because it’s our instruction manual and our source of HOPE!
TV show you are obsessed with? No obsessions currently. Nevertheless, I still DVR Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal!
Favorite local place for a first date? The place doesn’t matter so much. It’s the as company that makes it great…or not. ☺
On talk like a pirate day – what’s you’re favorite thing to say (in pirate of course)? Arrgh! Me Hearties!
