I held a book drive and I took an old storage room at The Mission at Kern County and I cleaned it out and re-painted it and turned it into a library for the children.

How did your project impact the community?

It gave the children at The Mission at Kern County an opportunity to sit down and get lost between the pages.

What did you learn from selling Girl Scout Cookies?

Selling Girl Scout cookies for so many years has taught me that it takes everybody to make it successful, some creative sales techniques, and also how to deal with large quantities of merchandise and money.

How did your skills selling Girl Scout Cookies help you complete your Gold Award Project?

In the form of communicating and working as a team, as I was able to get the girls in my troop and some of my friends to help.
